"Seems like spring must be near..."

I always thought Superman must be a bad-ass... you know, with some of his powers... temptation is so EVIL!

This... hmmm... joke?? Came from a conversation I heard mixed with a comic I'm reading... whatever, don't judge me! :P

Woolin' cheers!!

Calvin and Hobbes are 25 years old!

Although next December 31st will be the 15th anniversary of the last strip of "Calvin and Hobbes", last November 18th was the 25th anniversary of the first strip published of the great Bill Watterson's master piece...

I could do one million or more things to play tribute to this... but I done that thing :P

Anybody heard about Michael Bay thinking to do the Calvin and Hobbes movie in May 2011? :S

Cheers!

The Social Network

Hi, people! I have to study for a test, so Pete and Wolf may wait 'till tomorrow or later... Whatever, I bring you a "The world of Max"'s strip about the Social Networks and some 'dangers' on them...

I didn't watch the movie yet, but I heard that it's a really good movie and maybe one of the best this season... Did you watch it? What do you think?

Cheers!

Depriving of bowels...

-"Tell me, Max... are you doin' it with love?"

-"With all the love with which I can behead and deprive of bowels to a creature of the Lord with my own hands...”

Keep on trying sketches with my digital tablet... I think that I'm getting the line a little bit more than before... but I'm still thinking that it's harder drawing with a digital tablet than drawing with my lovely pens and pencils, and I think that it's a kinda line and finish that NEVER will succeed with a tablet :P

Also in spanish: [link]

Cheers!

Pets in Comic Strips??

Well, it's a fact that sometimes it's a great idea to base your comic strips on your own pets and experiences whit'em... but...

Cheers!!

Waves...

Here we go, with Max keep on trying to get a good comic strip... Don't hate me, please xDD

So sorry... it's just a very very bad and really poor kidding about Batman and the heat wave that we had this last month... and well, I think it's really worst once translated to english...

Cheers!!

PS.: Also in Spanish, of course: RIGHT CLICKIN' HERE!!

TWOM: Well-prepared

Well, I was thinking about that "extraordinary 'tool'", and how it could make the life easier for an amateur cartoonist like me... and how much for a professional cartoonist!!

Wonder about the space, the weight (it's not the same to carrie just the iPad machine down your arm and to carrie all that drawing stuff like the folder full of sheets, the pens, pencils...) and the speed with which you can draw and ink wherever and not needing to change your tools...

Well... It's a pity about the price :)

Cheers!!

And look! Also in Spanish!! --> RIGHT HERE!!

Engaged...

For all of us who don't have more than one bathroom in our own castle, palace or villa, this could be a scene we have to live and suffer more than once...

... and I really can't say it it's more bearable the first or the second situation... :P

Cheers!

Spawniac

I love the McFarlane's Spawn...

Well, at least, I loved it at first comics, until the #100, above all, the season with the Greg Capullo's awesome pencils... It was great, but when started to appear lots and lots of series and artists doing the Spawn Universe stuff... at first, with Sam and Twitch and the Curse of Spawn was cool, but I had lost track of all of it...

That amazing story, all those great and amazing drawings and the tattoo in my shoulder is what I save today :)

Wandaaaaa!!!!

Cheers!

Nods

[Also in Spanish / También en Español]

The world of references it's an amazing and awesome world... Love it, so if a nod to something or someone helps you get a good joke... or a joke, at least :)

Cheers!!!

PS: D'You all know the old Frank "Monkey Boy" Cho, don't you?? Right, I though So...

Guard Dog

Bless You!!

About Curriculum...

Well... this is The World of Max, a comic strip I was working for more than 3 years in my own blog in spanish language... This is about Max, an odd character with no job-disgusting job-no job again trying to live his own life with no succeed  on any way...

And there's our pal, again, trying to find a new job...

Cheers!

Subjective

I'm not really sure about what I'm going to do with this blog... the idea is to show some comic strips and some draws and illustration at the same time that I try to learn and practices some english...

Let's see where it goes... Cheers!
